Welcome to our dried wedding flower world

I started this small business as wanted I to offer something exciting and different to engaged couples. I’d personally got tired of beautiful bunches of flowers just withering and dying at home. They made me feel bad about myself and I knew couples would feel that way too.

So I took a leap of faith, left my career as a fashion designer and retrained at the New York Flower School and the rest is history.

We are a fully bespoke floral design experience. Rather than being an off-the-shelf product, our bouquets and other premium floral products are carefully considered and designed with each couple in mind.

Our ethos is to provide a complete floral experience for couples. We work with you to custom design based on your wedding style and colour palette. During the process you’ll receive mood boards and updates on how your design is evolving. Everything is designed and made by hand in our Derbyshire Dales studio.

Since my floral training back in 2019 I’ve developed and honed my own style which I think sets my work apart. My designs favour relaxed proportions with a strong emphasis on colour combinations (even a neutral palette is a combination of stunning shades) and a playful style.

We pride ourselves on using our years of fashion training and applying that level of creativity to our florals. Expertise in creating colour stories, mixed texture placements and perfect finishing touches such as tonal or contrasting ribbons.

From the get-go we will promtly reply to any question or query and we will keep you updated of our design process as we make your flowers, sending photos and videos for you to see as the designs are taking shape.

Meet Sarah…

Founder and Creative Director of Horseshoe Flowers

It’s hard to pinpoint when I first fell for flowers, since they’ve always been there in some way in my life, but I started to seriously consider it as a new career after I made all the flowers for my wedding back in 2012. I knew very little so I did a one day course flower arranging at a cool little flower shop in Brooklyn with two friends and decided I was going to do it!

My dream was to create something a little bit different- something bold, vivid and impactful that could be kept after the wedding and allow couples to feel a little better about their carbon footprint.

3 years of wedding flowers later, over 150 weddings done and I could not love what I do anymore. Being a part of two people’s most special day, is truly the most amazing honour.
