Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) are the terms and conditions upon which Horseshoe Flowers (“we/us”) makes available to you for any of our services. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Horseshoe Flowers’ Site and the Horseshoe Flowers’ services.

Booking/ payment/ cancellation

1.1 You will be provided with a quote within 10 working days of having your consultation. Upon confirmation of your order you will be expected to make a £100 non-refundable deposit payment within 5 working days to secure your date. Your date cannot be confirmed after this time, so please email us to confirm your date is still available. If you were to cancel your wedding after paying your non-refundable deposit, your deposit will not be refunded.

1.2 The final balance outstanding is due after you have confirmed your design upon receipt of images (see below). This usually happens about 4-6 weeks before your wedding.

1.3 Cancellation: Once a wedding/event has been confirmed Horseshoe Flowers will order flowers, reserve staff and sundries and may refuse to supply other events that wish to book our services. Therefore, booking confirmation deposits are non-refundable for any cancellation of a confirmed event.

Design Process

2.1 Horseshoe Flowers will send photos and videos of one piece of your order 4-6 weeks before your wedding for your review. This will usually be a wedding bouquet but could be other items we may deem necessary for review. At this stage we will review all details and confirm design. Once this design is approved, final payment is due. Horseshoe Flowers will not complete the final order until all payment is received.

2.2 Once the design is approved by the client, Horseshoe Flowers will create the rest of the floral order so there can be no changes after this stage.

2.3 If additions to the order are required after payment stage, this must be done via email and is subject to availability.

2.4 All Horseshoe Flowers products are subject to availability. In the event of any supply difficulties, we reserve the right to substitute a product of equivalent value and quality without notice.

2.5 Once the wedding or event florals are complete, the client will be sent photos of the finished work to confirm all items are correct and to see the finished product in advance of the wedding or event. This is not a time to make changes, any changes at this stage will be subject to additional costs.

Delivery

3.1 Horseshoe Flowers offers a free delivery for all orders exceeding £1200 within a 1 hour radius of our studio in Wirksworth, Derbyshire. For weddings further afield we charge a standard flat rate of £100 + £0.50 per mile.

3.2 Pick up is available for orders below £1200 from our studio in Wirksworth, Derbyshire.

3.3 Large items, such as arches, plinths or hanging clouds will be set up and delivered by Horseshoe Flowers unless otherwise agreed upon. Delivery charges apply to these items in accordance with our delivery policy (see above).

Return of Items/ deposit refunds

4.1 We offer many items for hire such as bud vases, fabric cloths for arches or registrars tables, plinths, metal stands, arches. These items can be hired from us for a deposit fee.

4.2 In the event Horseshoe Flowers provide hired equipment we will not be responsible for injury or damage to persons or property howsoever sustained arising from any Hired Goods.

4.3 The hirer should be solely responsibility for the Hired Goods and is expected to return them to Horseshoe Flowers in good order. The Hirer will pay for any non returns, damaged goods or breakages at full retail value. Once hired items are returned to Horseshoe Flowers we will issue a refund of deposit.
